CREATION

Our jewelry embodies an independent state of mind, aware of its place and of the world, a free and enlightened spirit.

"I am inspired by...

architectural or sculptural figures, I like the humility of elementary and minimal shapes.

Maison Mouche's jewels are enigmatic. They play with your perception. It is a jewelry where the void balances the solid, where the precision of the line allows to go to the essential.

They are a marriage of equilibrium and purity. We never tire of observing their graphic and changing form.

"The time to craft...

Take the time to draw, respect the cycles of reflection and creation.

When I draw, I seek purity in the gesture, the shortest path, the precision that will lead me to a shape that is free of all flourishes. As in architecture, when the structure finds its tipping point of balance with the least possible material.

And surprise the eye, the shape seems simple, but no, it's more mysterious than that.

Michiyo

is half french, half japanese.

During her career, she progressed from interior architecture to cartoons and ultimately jewelry design.

From her father, a structural steel engineer, she inherited a fascination with structural forms, technical prowess and mathematical accuracy.

Her mother passed on to her Japanese culture, a taste for simplicity and poetic balance.

After working for many years in a high-end costume jewelry brand, she founded Maison Mouche. At the confluence of these paths: a symbiosis of cultures and artistic disciplines.
